Each company has established internal occupational safety and health organizations and appointed management personnel based on its specific scale and nature of operations. Regular education and training are conducted to integrate safety and health awareness into the daily work environment through robust management mechanisms.

Hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation：

In accordance with the Regulations on Occupational Safety and Health Management, safety and health organizations and management personnel are established based on the business scale and nature. All management personnel have completed the required safety and health education and training, passed the prescribed examinations, and hold certificates for Occupational Safety and Health Affairs Managers.

We have established processes for workers to report occupational hazards and dangerous situations. Together with labor representatives, we define Safety and Health Work Rules tailored to their needs. Necessary safety and health education and training are provided to workers to prevent accidents; workers, in turn, have the obligation to participate in these programs.

FICG follows the aforementioned regulations and management systems to prevent and mitigate significant negative occupational safety and health impacts directly related to organizational operations, products, or services. If hazards or risks exist at a workplace, relevant units will provide on-site notifications to prevent the occurrence of hazards.
FICG’s operating sites in Mainland China conduct an annual hazard identification process and have formulated corresponding measures for significant hazards. We regularly arrange health check-ups for employees who may face occupational hazards and invite third-party agencies to conduct periodic testing of hazardous factors in the workplace. These measures aim to ensure employee safety and health and prevent occupational diseases and work-related injuries.

Right to Refuse Unsafe Work

If there is an imminent danger in the workplace, according to Article 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act by the Ministry of Labor, the employer or the person in charge of the workplace shall immediately order the suspension of operations and evacuate workers to a safe location.

When workers discover an imminent danger while performing their duties, they may, without endangering other workers, spontaneously stop operations and retreat to a safe area, reporting immediately to their direct supervisor. Employers are prohibited from dismissing, transferring, withholding wages during the suspension, or imposing other unfavorable treatment on such workers. However, this does not apply if the employer proves that the worker abused the right to stop operations, as determined by the competent authority in compliance with labor laws.

Worker Participation, Consultation, and Communication

To refine occupational safety and health measures, FICG has introduced participation, consultation, and communication mechanisms, aiming to continuously improve its performance.

• Establishment and Operation of the Committee: We have established an Occupational Safety and Health Committee based on organizational scale, with dedicated personnel assigned by Ubiqconn to oversee responsibilities. For subsidiaries that do not meet the legal threshold for a committee, communication is maintained through meetings and suggestion boxes. The committee convenes every three months to discuss safety and health issues.

• Implementation of Management Plans: We have formulated Occupational Safety and Health Management Plans in accordance with the law and conduct periodic and key inspections based on self-inspection plans. Unit supervisors, site managers, and equipment operators participate in autonomous inspections according to set cycles.
