Since 2023, FICG has dedicated December as \u2018Sustainability Month,\u2019 using this platform to advance corporate social responsibility. In its inaugural year, the \u201cGiving Tree\u201d initiative delivered Christmas gifts filled with blessings to nearly 100 underprivileged schoolchildren. In 2024, the focus expanded to education and knowledge-sharing, with nine company representatives volunteering as storytellers to engage with children in local communities.
FICG\u2019s sustainability goals extend beyond community engagement; a series of sustainability lectures were held within the company, covering key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG13 (Climate Action), and SDG17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
To further their commitment, FICG volunteers underwent professional training before visiting the Quaker Da\u2019an Family Support Center and the Hui-Long Family Support Center in New Taipei City. Through storytelling sessions and interactive activities, they helped 78 children understand the importance of sustainability and promoted responsible toy usage by encouraging them to donate unused toys to those in need. This initiative not only extended the life cycle of toys but also reinforced the principles of SDG12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), spreading love and warmth while fostering environmental consciousness.
