As the chilly new semester begins, FIC Global, Inc. (FICG, 3701) and its employees have extended their love and warmth to elementary schools and churches in backcountry of Taitung County and Changhua County. Through this initiative, children experienced the joy and hope of the festive Christmas season.
This event was inspired by the “Giving Tree: Love Sharing Wish Tree” program, aiming to instill a spirit of generosity among Taiwan’s children. The goal is to encourage gratitude and inspire them to pass on the love they receive to their communities, neighbors, and families. Additionally, it serves to raise awareness among local parents about the importance of their children’s mental and physical development.
During this Giving Tree campaign, FICG delivered carefully chosen gifts to nearly 200 children from two elementary schools in Changhua County, and two Presbyterian Churches in Taitung County. The effort in Changhua continues FICG’s long-standing partnership with other charitable foundations since 2022. Each gift contained heartfelt messages from employees, warming the hearts of the children and making their Christmas season filled with love and joy.
The FICG Sustainability Development Office emphasized:
“The key is not about giving gifts but about fostering character education and growth among children. We hope they will develop a similar mindset to care for those in need and share love with more people in the future.”
Moreover, this initiative is a hallmark task during FICG’s 2023 ESG Month, aligning with the theme: “FUTURE INNOVATION CARING GLOBAL”. This signifies FICG’s commitment to leveraging creativity and concrete actions to care for society and promote corporate sustainability. More than thousands of employees from subsidiaries, affiliates, and charitable foundations participated in this meaningful event.
